After a night of rest (but not much sleep), we have been told by the new crew that the meds are doing exactly what we’re asking of them and now we wait.
I know. I know. Sounds a lot like the other updates, huh. Well, the doctors continue to remind us that we’re tricking the body to do something in 48 hours that usually takes a couple of weeks.
But Kirsten is finally getting more sleep. Gotta have plenty of rest for the pushing!!
Our room is super quiet and relaxing. I am reading all of your comments to Kirsten. She smiles and laughs at each one so keep them coming.
I will post as much as possible. As things progress, we will be moved to the OR to deliver. (All twin deliveries happen in the operating room.) I wonder if they get WiFi in there. “Um, nurse, do you know the MGH OR WiFi password?” Just kidding. Strict orders from the boss: No devices except the camera.
All our love. And exercising patience.
Love,
K&G&?&?

I had drinks with Kate M last night. She wishes you both well and is a little jealous that K-bomb lasted to 38!
Cubs lost yesterday so It totally makes sense why the Twinkies didn’t emerge….bad day at the ballpark.
Work has me all over the place today so I prob wont be generating 100 website hits like yesterday. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
GOOOOO Nelsons!

Damn it. We should have provided suggestions for hospital quiet time play-lists. Anything good on TV?
When we were visiting Dad for his hip surgery we watched a lot of Deadliest Catch. Man alive that tv show is addicting. I like Sig and the Northwestern. He’s a great captain. He would be a good birthing coach I think – although he’d smell like fish. I guess that’s the trade off.
What Not To Wear and Bridezillas are also somewhat addicting.

I’m back!! Long night, eh? I guess my 5am prediction was not such a good one. I’m sticking with 2 girls.
K looks great. The fact that she smiles for the camera is incredible. I would surely be punching frank in the face at this point.
How’s Wrigs? Is he nervous? Are dogs allowed in MGH? no?! Well, they should be.
TV show recs: Daily Show. Cobert. Tori & Dean. Real Housewives (and pretty much anything else on Bravo). Jeopardy. How’s that for a line-up.
Sending luv
KC

Take it easy – the big push is coming.
Unfortunately my cell phone doesn’t work in this basement of College of DuPage where I am until 3 PM EDT. So I will keep trying to “take a break” once an hour or every half hour, if I can.
Lots of love,
Barb

The little buggers sure are taking their time – you must have a very comfortable womb, Kirsten! I’m dying with the suspense and can only imagine what you both are feeling.
This is obviously going to rock your world -and Wrigley’s too (Moco stayed downstairs for a week). Jared said that the OR at Beth Israel had a Bose sound system so he really enjoyed that part – he remembers all the songs they played. I was too afraid that I wasn’t breathing to even hear anything.
Can’t wait to meet the Nelson twins – I predict one of each.
Keep up the good work, K!!
Love – Bets
