At last, sleep has found us. After a two days of working on adrenaline, both Kirsten and I got some needed sleep last night. Camden and Marin spent the night in the nursery yielding quiet for Mom and Dad.
And we slept hard. Like waking up with “an Olympic-sized pool of drool on your pillow” hard.
We had a great day with the girls yesterday. Lots of hugging and holding. They both spent a lot of time resting with Mom. Just watching them look up at her, recognizing her voice and cuddling into her skin makes you understand the mother/child relationship all the more.
Here are a couple shots of Mom and her beautiful twin daughters.

Beautiful is right! I still can’t believe they are here! I’m glad you got rest, we are all worried about you and were glad to get pics/updates. We love you so much! Please give a hug to Mom. She’s missed nothing, its still raining (shocker), Hillary broke her elbow and the dude in Iran is still a crazy little man. Sox love it, so do Cubs apparently too.
But you love it more! Love Melanders
ps – i love the fact that you assigned the tag DROOL to this post
