Hi Everyone!

I thought since I’m slowly starting to feel more like myself after this crazy week and half that I would write something on this blog. Thank you so much for all your support and your interest in these two little miracles that we’ve welcomed into our lives.  It has been so nice to know that so many people are thinking about us and sending nice thoughts. I had no idea how much of a life of its own this blog would take on, but I’m so glad Graham started it since it’s helped us communicate with you all.

We are adjusting nicely to being back at home- thank goodness for my mom- she’s been a lifesaver helping to clean, cook, do laundry, change diapers and generally take care of Graham and I as we adjust to life with two little people. Since I had a c-section, pre-eclampsia after I delivered and now an infected c-section wound I haven’t been too mobile, so Grandma Dilly and Graham have taken on full responsibility of anything that requires me to move too much. Graham is a natural with the babes and I feel so lucky to be going through this with him.

Speaking of Graham, Marin is a spitting image of him – we are wondering if she’ll have his loud laugh and boisterous personality.  We haven’t figured out yet who Camden looks like, but she looks a little like her cousin Claire.

The babies are doing great- each up to 6 lbs which is exciting- they are both eating and sleeping really well which has made things easier. Marin especially likes to sleep so we often have to go through quite a routine to wake her up to eat. Grandma Dilly has become a pro with her using all the “wake up” techniques.  Graham and I both can’t believe that they’ll be two weeks old on Thursday- before we know it, they’ll be going off to college!

Anyway thanks again for all your thoughts and support. We can’t wait to introduce you to our little bundles!

Love Kirsten
