Morning has arrived and exhaustion is setting in. I’m told we only need to worry about this type of exhaustion for another 18 years.

Mom is waiting to spend some QT with babies and getting some rest. I am too amped up so I am splitting time between the nursery and the Nurse’s Station.

Still haven’t taken off my OR scrubs. I’m waiting for someone to say to me: “hey, those are OR scrubs!” to which I will reply “Oh, are they?”

And for those of you scoring for style points at home, the Docs and Nurses gave me bonus points for yellow crocs in the operating room.

The only thing worse than hospital food is hospital sleep. Dry air. Beepy machines. And the question of when these two want to leave the womb and stretch out a little bit.

Kirsten is working hard, mentally and physically. She is resting as much as she can and she has certainly earned her epidural (being fitted right now).

We’re hoping to get a couple more hours of shut eye while the pitocin does it’s work. Stay tuned.

And for all those wondering out there: yes, the doctors and nurses are all jealous of my yellow crocs.

XOXOXO.
K&G&?&?

I forgot how comfortable hospital furniture is.
