Happy Fathers Day, Dads!

It’s another soggy day in Boston, but we’re all smiles on the 13th floor. K got a ton of sleep last night and we’re enjoying a wonderful day with the girls.

They are starting to show signs of personality already. This morning, Marin asked Mommy for a pony and Camden asked if she could get her ears pierced. Hmmm…

Feeding is going well. We’re learning all kinds of different technique. And when K has been sleeping, I have been chattin’ up the nurses in the Nursery (“Hi, I’m a Nursery nurse. My job is to change diapers and listen to babies cry all day. And I do this so that new parents can rest and get ready for parenthood. And I do it because I have quite possibly have the biggest heart in the entire world.”) They are an amazing group of women.

Uncle Ross provided a couple swaddling lessons before shipping off to DC this AM. (For those of you who don’t know, Ross was the crowned Swaddling King of DC by the WashPost Lifestyle section.) I’ve got a lot to learn from him…and not just swaddling tactics.

And we had a great visit from the Nelson’s & the Renzi’s this AM. So fun to have my dad here on Father’s Day. Didn’t have a father’s day card ready for him, but he seemed fine with the gift of a couple hours with his new granddaughters. See pics below.

Thanks to Dad, Midge, Ashley and Phil for a nice, relaxing visit this AM. We loved having you here.

A great visit with my fam. All three of my girls resting quietly. US Open on. (Pulling for Lefty!) What an amazing 1st Father’s Day.

xoxoxoxo,
