We love naps. Lots of naps.

Matter of fact, we think everyone should take a nap everyday. The world would certainly be a kinder, gentler place.

Hi All,

A quick check in on progress as I am sure everyone is tired of reading traffic updates from our hospital room.

Here’s a quick update: Kirsten is doing great. Being induced into labor is no small task but her body is responding well to the different treatments.

Our doctors continue to give us good scores, but have warned that it could be a while before the babies are ready to join the real world. (K is doing such a good job keeping these babies happy that they just want to stay put!)

Stay tuned for more fun updates. You would all be so proud of K. She is doing great.

Time to rest some more. Might be a long night.

Love,
K&G&?&?

For those of you familiar with MGH, you know that we are very close to where Storrow Drive meets 93 and Route 1. Given that we’re trying to let K get some rest and things are a little slow, I thought I’d provide a quick update for our commuter friends:

Here’s the latest:

93N blocked back to the Water Tanks

93S stop and go from the Schrafft

Storrow Drive logjammed with Sox traffic

And the Edens and Eisenhower are backed up to the Kennedy. Wait. What?

Those of you who have ever had an IV understand how frustrating / range limiting it can be. With the “induction” medication administered, K was ready for a nap. But alas, the bra was cramping her “ladies”. So we embarked on a game of Operation to get the bra threaded off her body, thru her Johnny, and all the way around the IV. Success was ours and we celebrated by hanging the bra next to the IV.

Pretty exciting stuff. Oh yeah. Whew.

Okay, time for a nap.
